Group 24F vs 35 Battery: What Changes?

Group 24F and Group 35 can have different case envelopes and terminal layouts. A comparison chart does not approve a substitution.

Compare the physical requirements

Open each group page for the BCI maximum dimensions, then compare the actual SKU height, tray, hold-down and cable reach.

Check the electrical system

Match voltage, CCA minimum, chemistry and venting. If the OEM specifies one group, obtain manufacturer approval before changing to another.
